Thank you for the comment. I spend so much time now wishing I was somewhere else, Liverpool, where I was born and spent my childhood, or somewhere even further away that I seldom notice the places I walk. Maybe it's time I opened my eyes to what is right outside my door.

i think that would be a great idea. it is amazing what you can find if you look. there is beauty in the smallest thing or even in the ugliest thing. i am rarely able to travel so i continue to photograph things in my area, just doing it in different ways at different times or different ways. it's easy to get bogged down in wishing to be elsewhere..i know that feeling well!

there is a good chance i will be traveling to the UK at this time next year. i have a chance to visit cornwall with a group of online photo friends but havent made my final decision yet. the cost is the issue now so i have to think long and hard but, the idea of doing it truly excites me!
